I want to see Georgia go down to Green-Beckham and Pinkel's air attack.

Can any of you suggest a good hotel to stay in around Faurot Field and the campus in Columbia? Thank you Mizzou!

forfeited the 2009 Atlantic Coast Conference Football Championship, was fined $100,000 and placed on probation by the National Collegiate Athletic Association for failing to cooperate with an investigation of eligibility violations.

The appeal was denied in March of 2012

In announcing Georgia Tech's appeal had been denied, the NCAA noted the school "was cited for preferential treatment violations, a lack of cooperation during the investigation and a failure to meet the conditions and obligations of membership."

Stoney Creek Inn is a nice property about 1/2 mile from the field

Hampton Inn is adjacent to the stadium complex and on the edge of campus

The Stadium is on the southern edge of the campus....the other hotel properties, are to the north, east, and west....anywhere from approx 3 to 5 miles....

Lots of chains are here....Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge, Quality, etc.....

You asked about the properties closest....those are the best.

Hampton Inn is about 2 years old.....a 10 minute walk at most to the Stadium

Stoney Creek Inn is a step up....a nicer property....

Parking adjacent to the Stadium, for non season ticket holders, is limited.....

You can walk from the Hampton....Stoney Creek has a shuttle

If you stay further away most properties have a shuttle, or the city runs a shuttle with the city busses for game day....cabs are available

Hope that helps....

Get on the hotel now there was a big run on hotels for that game when it was announced. For parking Greek Town is adjacent to the stadium and you can park at the fraternities tailgate and walk to the stadium in a few minutes.

University of Georgia is a Tool college and second in the state in all ways Academics.

Many of their alumni are good people, but the vast majority are inheritance tools who have and never will do anything with their lives.

Take those sorry tools down, please.

The "tools" only beat the bees of North Avenue. We must be a little better than you in that respect...

Extended Stay America is right off of I-70 and Stadium Dr. Stayed there for a few days for the state high school championships a couple years ago and it was great.
