Why are you excited about Spring?

Spring football gives us a peek at what the next football season has instore for our respective team and this spring training should be no different. What is it that you are most interested in seeing or are looking for with your team from a certain position development or coaching progression standpoint?
Personally I am looking forward to seeing the how Alabama RB situation shakes out more than anything else. Eddie Lacy will br out for spring so I think you will see several guys get alot of looks. D Hart, Blake Simms, J Fowler, B Calloway and TJ Yeldon all have a chance to make a big impact next season playing behind Lacy and spring will go along way in deciding how the touches are distributed. I think Fowler and Calloway could also get looks at H-Back if Hart and Yeldon are as good as most expect. Calloway could be a matchup nightmare with his frame and athletism at H-Back in my opinion.

I didn't know Lacy was out for spring. Why is he out?

For AU it is who will be the QB (again). Does Frazier step up and take the job? OL must see significant improvement.

Lacy had surgery to repair turf toe following the BCSNG, he should be 100% for summer workout and could go thru spring but is not expected to. As for Auburn I am looking forward to see what type of changes are made on defense, it wouldn't surprise me to see BVG move some players around to better fit what he is trying to do. I could see some of the younger tweener type DE's get a look at LB because I definately think BVG wants more size at LB. I am looking forward to see how both teams spring shakes out.

I am looking forward to who will step up at WR for AJ. We have a proven QB, OL, TE and RB. We have talent at WR, but we need someone who can step up consistently every day.
