Its baseball you aren't going to win every game, just need to win the series. Only thing I hate is it will probably bring out the anti-Jack crew earlier this year.

Jack has earned every bit of the criticism he gets. While he has proven to be a good coach, he has not proven himself to be elite. He has not proven he can get it done on the big stage. I do not and never will believe small ball with alloy bats is the way to play. I think it would serve him and Clemson if he would play more aggressive and looser. At times he is very uptight, and the team struggles. He has done some great things for Clemson, but currently we are behind in the arms race. Now I know it's not all his fault as he is handicapped by TDP as all the other coaches are.

The UAB guy did throw a hell of a game Fri night, but that is not what Jack gets grief for.

TOL we've talked about this before. All coaches that know baseball play small ball maybe not as much as Jack. I think people want to see a slow picth team LOL

I didnt say anything about small ball not being a part of baseball... I dindt say small ball was bad.

I have stated that small ball combined with bad fundamentals is bad. Our Fielding Percentages the past decade have shown we are deficient in this area. That is a fact.

Im not getting into this with you though. I havnet curse a non Gamecock fan in a long time so go some where else with that. Mean while I see you attack Clemson fans constantly on here.

Boys, boys....... I will only say this...... Based on the way we have played defense the last few years (particularly the Alabama super regional final 2 years ago- ball through SS's legs), we need to score as many runs as possible, whatever that takes. Hopefully our D improves as much this year as it did last year. Not saying last year was great, but there was improvement.

As Coach Tanner said, there's a great deal of parity in college baseball these days. PC only lost by one run to SC yesterday and UAB is a better team than PC, so I wouldn't worry about it. If it was a three-game series, you would have taken the other two. Leggett is a good coach and the Clemson baseball program is all right. Looking forward to a great series this weekend.
