7-3 opening night win in front of 5663. Beat a very good Cal State Fullerton team. Game 2 tomorrow.

Packed crowd, it was great. Broke my baseball cherry, I had never been to a single game, pro or college before (not counting high school ball). I'll probably be going to Game 2 tomorrow.

Randall was kind of shaky, and we didn't start out well. I attribute it to the massive expectations and preseason jitters. Gushue is a stud. Kid hit a homer in his first college at-bat, on the first pitch. He hit several others that went far. We got better hitting as we went on, and that 4-run 7th was a sight to behold. Our bullpen is niiiice. The Titans were hitting on all of Randall's stuff, but Rodriguez came out and shut 'em down quick.

CSF is a top 10 to 20 type of club. They are certainly capable of a trip to Omaha this year. Next two games should be equally fun.

Yeah, they're all back. No one's getting in our way this year. We're rolling to the title and it won't even be close.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves bro

Our team should be incredible though. If we win this year well join the exclusive club of schools with a NC in each of the Big3 sports

This team is deep. So deep that Austin Maddox couldn't crack the starting lineup last night. 3 true freshman started. Our only position player loss from last year is Josh Adams. Gamecocks and Vandy are also loaded this year. SEC is poised to be the best baseball conference again this year.

Haha aye, I'm joking. Just a little bit of early season bravado. It really was a very good game for the good guys.

And ruestah...lol. C'mon man you can easily copy my name from the screen! But yeah, I'm looking forward to the series with your Gamecocks!

'Preciate it, man! (Really, I do, haha.)

Your pitching staff is to be feared, of course. Roth is like a battle-scarred veteran of war. Imagine the eyes of freshman hitters coming to plate with him staring them down...sheesh. I think the SEC will chalk up another title at the end of the year, just hoping it's us...
