Alot, really:
- Both went to high schools with a "Gator" for the mascot. Escambia and Glades Day, respectively. So they could both say "Once a Gator, always a Gator."
- Emmitt was
the leading rusher in Florida history, and became the leading rusher in NFL history. Kelvin surpassed Emmitt's record of 8804 yards to become the leading rusher in Fla. history, and needs only 2,258 yards this year to become the all time national high school career rushing record holder by passing the record of Ken Hall of Sugarland, Texas of 11,232 yards.
- They are both around 5'9", and just over 200 #.
- Neither has blazing 4.4 speed, but both have an uncanny ability to make people miss and rack up yards after conact through a combination of lower body strength, low center of gravity, the ability to violently stop on a dime and cut back 90 degrees to the left or right, balance, vision and always seeming to have "just enough" speed.
- And both are Florida Gators! This post was edited on 2/18 12:41 PM by HathBrad
