Bad pitching day. Won the series against a great opponent anyway. We'll be fine, I won't question Sully's decisions.

Johnson's early exit was probably due to his high pitch count. Sully doesn't like to take chances overworking his starters, especially this early in the season. I don't know exactly how many pitches he threw, but it was a lot. CSF is a high quality opponent, especially for opening weekend; we got 2 out of 3, bullpen got torched today, plus hitters didn;t produce in the clutch. Give them credit. We move on and will be fine.

But yeah, re: pulling Johnson and going to the bullpen, he was on a STRICT pitch count. Like kylesax said, 75 and done. Figure Sully was experimenting today when there's nothing at stake. Perspective.

I'm gonna try the Gatorvision stream this year, ten buck a month seems like a bargain. I do miss the pitchcount and score during play however, but getting used to it.

Yeah, I tried that a few times last year, but Sully made it to the CWS Championship series, and I didn't, so I'm going to lay back this year.

Negatory. Sat/Sun were radio only, and GatorVision. Friday was on Channel 48 in Gainesville, I think that's CSN (I was at the game so I'm not sure, my sick friend told me it was televised).
