The nfl on paper has gotten tougher on player actions, but in reality it is just a front. Some team will give him a shot for several reasons. 1. They can get him for cheap without bonus or guaranteed money. 2. He once played in the all world sec which according to espn is far better and competitive than the lowly nfl. I hope he gets somewhere and gets his stuff together, but Ryan Leif keeps coming to mind.

The NFL will care a lot more about Garcia's lack of listening to his coach versus any off the field issues. His off the field issues are tame as a kitten compared to some of the stuff some NFL players have done over the years.

Yeah what sg does is lame. The difference is he is not a superstar, so he will get hammered. Some team will give him a shot, bc he could be serviceable and cheap 3rd teamer.

I don't think he'll get a shot anywhere. Maybe an outside shot at making a camp if he shows well, but that's about it. Garcia doesn't have anywhere near the size or talent that Ryan Leaf had, and even if he has cleaned up his act (which I hope he has), he still hasn't shown the ability to read a defense, go thru progressions, or audible at the LOS.

I think he'll be lucky to get a chance though because he's got a decent arm but it's not anything to write home about.
