LSU-UK Basketball Game

Question

Hey guys, I just moved down to New Orleans from Lexington Ky a few weeks ago, and I'm planning on heading over to Baton Rouge to watch my Cats play next weekend. Not necessarily coming here to talk about the game. (although I think it'll be a tough one for us. A road game against a MUCH improved LSU team.) I was just coming to ask about the typical gameday things. A good place to park, good place to eat, etc. And I already have tickets, but they're upper deck. How easily can you bargain with a scalper for a better seat? Are there many tickets available outside the arena?

Looking forward to the game Saturday! (And if it means anything to you guys, I've hopped on the LSU bandwagon since moving down here. Pulled for you guys in the championship, and I'll be pulling for you on the hardwood against anyone but Kentucky.) Thanks in advance for the help guys.

That is going to be a great series. Both teams are playing great baseball right now. It should be a tight 2-1 series. It will be tough for LSU to take 2 of 3 against Kentucky in Lexington. Looking forward to a great series and Omaha in June for the College World Series. Hope we see each other there.

Ha, as you can see from the many replies you have received the Tiger folks don't give a diddly damn about Basketball. Just Football and Baseball !!

I appreciate your support of the Southeastern Conference, but I've been to games at your arena and your fans really do care WHEN your winning. I can understand how easy it is to say you don't care about a sport when you struggle. But UK fans deeply care about football and BASEBALL. Good luck and this was not meant to be a flame.

Try and understand. LSU fans generally don't care about basketball. I realize that is hard for you to comprehend but if LSU would have won you would see the same reaction.
