How many BE teams in tourney this year?

In what seems like an off year, I still think we get seven or eight, about half the conference, in....and I think no one will be looking at us and we'll do better than in recent years.

Bracketology has 9 right now FWIW. Us, 'Cuse, Marquette, Seton Hall, Notre Dame, UConn, Cincinnati, Georgetown, and WVU. Seton Hall, WVU, UConn all seem pretty generous right now though and they all have some work to do for sure.

I'm sorry but....did anyone see UK mentioned anywhere in this post? If I did, please kick me in the head and show me the door. If I didn't, please moderators...this is a post about the BE and if you can...delete this post so we can stay on topic.

I think about 8 or 9 BE teams will get in the tourny this year.

Just another bait flaming troll. That's what the ignore button is for.

Back to the your question. The interesting team is USF. They are sitting at 10-4 today but have a overall record of 17-10. Hard team to figure out other than they too have suffered some early season injuries and are now starting to get healthy.

Syracuse, Marquette, Notre Dame, Georgetown, South Florida, West Virginia, Cincinnati, and of course UofL. Those are the 8 I would choose today. UConn, and Seton Hall have a chance to play themselves in.

I'd like to beat Cincy Thursday and push them back onto the bubble. Their out of conference results weren't much and they need this one badly.

GO CARDS

They do need a win Thursday. You are right about that so they'll be more than fired up to play. The Cards have to match that intensity if they want to win. I think UofL has more talent but I'm not sure if they'll have the desire to match what UC will bring to the floor. Hope so. The Cards are now playing for seeding. Win out and a 2 or 3 seed is still very possible.
