Wiggz, I'm with you on all points. I don't know what jefferson has on Miles but I'd sure like to know. Bama played great and deserved to win but LSU didn't deserve to lose in this fashion. It was a total embarassment to a very fine football team less Jefferson. I know we probably would not have won with Lee or Mett but we had absolutely NO CHANCE with JJ. He's gone now and I'm sure he blame the play calling or his WRs or his OL but he's GONE NOW! Kudos to Bama and rotten eggs to Miles and staff. Down 15-0 in the 3rd and Lee does not get one frigging series? This is all on MIles because any other coach would have jerked JJ after 3 qtrs. Oh well, I hope the fish start biting soon and wait til next year.

In the first three quarters we had eight drives. In those drives our RB's had a total of six carries. Six. All year our MO has been to wear other teams out - that won't get it done, and I have no idea why we went away from a winning blue-print.

Oh and one more thing. I couldn't go to the game but my son took my tickets. he just called me and said LSU fans should be ashamed of themselves. He told me that the stadium was about 65% Bama fans and it was like their home game. I guess all of our fans got GREEDY and sold their tickets to gumps or put them on the internet and Gumps bought them. That's disgusting!

Alabama won because we had a Head Coach to stubborn to take out Jefferson. His last two games are the worst back to back games I've ever seen a QB play. I'm in shock right now LSU did not make a qb change anytime in this game

Another factor. Loud mouth thugs bragging all week, couldn't back it up and gave Bama something more to play for. LSU looked worst then the Big 10 teams.

LSUwiggz thanks for the props. The system we have in place put the two best teams in the game. We played the best game that was possible. You guy's had an awsome year, except this game. You guys are loaded for next year and should be back in the title game in 2012 against USC. I respect your coach and team. Good luck in 2012, except in November in Baton rouge against us.

Great post LSUwiggz, I agree, but on him not running and passing for longer yardage, if you watch it closely, he didn't have long to throw, and our DF was wrapping him up before he could run. I honestly think LM did Lee a favor by not putting him in because he would have made it worse. I know the agony of defeat is tough, but you'all had a great year up until then, and you will win big again. Just be thankful our teams are the top of the SEC. Good post. I agree with almost every point you made. LSU probably should have ran the ball more. I still think balance on offense is the key to success against any good defense. Bama's QB was able to make plays and provide balance...thus keeping the chains moving. LSU didn't get anything from their QB and would not have been able to win without making some plays in the passing game. The teams were so evenly matched that it came down to the QB play. AJ McCarron is very talented and he has really progressed this year. It was obvious to everyone watching that JJ wasn't getting it done and time was running out. I thought we would see JL but for what ever reason LM decided to stick with JJ.

This years LSU team was phenomenal. Congratulations on an outstanding season.

Absolutely ZERO defense and tbh, that was hard to watch as well. At least the title game was littered with players who will play in the NFL.

Not sure what game your son went to but the only time it was 65% Bama fans was when Trent scored and some LSU fans left the game. At worst it was 55-45 LSU, but I would say more like 60-40. Didn't matter as both sides were loud when something good happened for their team.
