We lost Patrick Miller to Auburn (of all places) because we didn't have enough early enroll scholarships. Now, seems we have one with no one to use it. Wow...

Actually,I think all schools have 25 early ones if they wish to go that way.
Under the SEC rules, all 25 count on the incoming year.

The way I heard it, it depends on how many team members graduate early to open up those scholarships.

That was changed last year. But you cannot back fill anymore.

I and lot of people I know think that is too severe and the SEC went too far and will harm the whole conference. I think once a couple schools end up with 83 or less on scholarship, it will change somewhat.

that whole rule change was a knee jerk response because other conferences were questioning us. It will hurt our conference and will hurt a few kids each year x 14. Sad.
