I don't talk smack. I speak what I believe and right or wrong that is my right. You can bet your azz that I don't go to the losers board to taunt them. By the way--we did beat you this year and we beat the Cotton Bowl Champ, the Rose Bowl, the orange bowl champ and yes, the national champions.

I was thinking about that today and it is simply unreal. I realize that the season ended on a tough note for you guys, but this team was extremely fun to watch this year. Whether it be Mettenberger or Kiel next year, LSU will be virtually impossible to beat with any quality QB play. The schedule gets much easier next year and I would think that the players start the season with a serious mad on. Best of luck guys.

That was very thoughtful and I think pretty factual. Alabama was great Monday night. They were a machine and don't think anyone could beat you besides LSU and vice versa. The two best teams were there, but one came to play & one did not. One was prepared and one was not

I've got no dog in this fight but I can tell you Friendly Foe frequents our board and we haven't had any issues with him. He backs his team but has always been a respectful visitor.

Congrats to both teams. It makes one very proud to be in the SEC to see the rest of the nation on the outside looking in. Too bad one of our best teams in years could only muster up third in the West but you guys better get used to us being a contender for a while. Go Hogs!

I can only guess that one person's reading of a post can interprete it as "smack" and another interpret it as a fan cheering his team on.
No big deal either way.

If you had read any of my other post you would have noted that LSU is a team I cheer for in every game except one. I have even said all year that if we did not have Saban I would want Miles. ( I am taking another look at that one...lol)

Anyway good that both teams got there and my guess is the Championship will be decided next year in Baton Rouge. Have a good spring.

I think your right Friendly Foe, there's been talk for awhile about whether this was the best DF ever or not. I've been watching the Tide since 1960, and in my opinion this without a doubt is the best I've seen. LSU averaged close to 40 points a game this year, and for Bama to hold them scoreless is just truly amazing. LSU is probably the team most Bama fans dread to play every year the most, because of the intensity every year. It was just our time to win, LSU will be back next year, watch for it. RTR
