Would be a GREAT transfer to get and could possibly help UL bring in some of the current Trinity players!

he was one of the Ohio St dude suspended during all that mess correct? with CCS way of doing things, the kid's gotta prove something to CCS i'd think. we've stayed away from the trouble kids lately.

-tOSU was his "dream". He should live it.

-He's already RS'd. He'd have to sit another year.

-He couldn't get any clock up there

-We have (arguably) as good of class of LB's as anybody.

-He'd be learning a new system along with the FR. Youth wins in this situation.

-If he transfers, he should look at WKU instead. And with short eligibility, maybe EKU.

But tOSU is his "Dream". Maybe it's become a nightmare?

With Urben Myer being the new HC at OS. Jordan would be able to transfer without sitting out a year due to a coaching change.

He committed to OSU as a sophmore. No question that's his dream school. But with Urban & Co up there now, he's going to have to learn a new system there, too. Let's not forget Jordan was the 15th ranked LB in the nation in 2009. He's been learning with the best while at OSU. I'd welcome him with open arms. He'd be the type to push the young LB's even further. You don't pass on his talent and intangibles.

I'm a THS grad and wish this weren't true, but the staff likes who they have at his position. They feel the guys we have are better with a higher ceiling.

He is still showing 3rd string behind a Sr and a Soph at MLB.

I figured out he would have two yrs eligibility left. I thought it was one. (---Also, I thought incoming Fr were the only ones who can transfer with a coaching change?? True or False?)

He would add to what appears is going to be just a sick group of LB's.

Something must be up though if he's thinking of leaving there.

As far as I know, only incoming freshman can leave without penalty due to a coaching change.

I agree with Teeth. Also as another writer stated Whiting may have more eligibility and chance to play at EKU.

Heard the reason he did not play was due to season ending injury in the beginnjng of the season, a torn acl. Which means if he does transfer he will still have 2 years of eligibility remaining with a medical redshirt.

Because it's looking like the LB spots are full. No scholly available.

Now if he wanted to walk on.....

He probably should stick it out up there. Can't go wrong with a degree from tOSU.

As a transfer, he must establish a year of residency (i.e., not just "sit out" but be enrolled as a full time student at his new school) BEFORE being eligible to play. That would leave him 1 year of eligibility UNLESS he is granted a medical waiver to the 5 year rule. Some folks at Wildcat Lair say that will happen and he will be a Cat. Medical waivers are "tricky" and are handled on a case by case basis. I think you must first formally play out your initial eligibility before formally applying for the medical waiver.

Peace

Saw that as well. They recognize that his playing time at U of L will be limited.

At least LPT fans are starting to realize where they are on the food chain. The guy would have a better chance of playing Big Boy football at Western.

Sounds more like he should be FCS bound if he's basing everything on FB.

If not, get the OSU diploma. JMO
