Renardo Sidney woke up this morning and said "Hem. It's Tuesday."

Miller is the most frustrating player in UK history. He should be great, but isn't. So much potential, but he's missing "something". Drives me nuts.

Jones isn't far behind BTW.

Smile

Don't worry, if Sidney keeps getting back on offense like that his asthma will kick in.

What's made me the angriest tonight is the ball-line defense we've played. Four wide open threes directly resulting from doubling the post isn't nearly enough, especially considering we've blocked the two shots they've taken when they've tried to take it straight up in the post. Stop at ten, I say. Then make the adjustment.

Garrett Stutz watched the first half and started licking his chops.

Jones is at least in the game. He's mixing it up. You know he's playing. WTF is Miller doing besides disappearing and missing wide open 3s?

Like I said- if Miller and Lamb don't knock down open looks, we're just another Top 10-15 team. Its essential that when they get those looks, they knock them down.

I still think we will win. They'll come back down to earth some and our guys will step it up. 13 points down on Fat Tuesday is nothing for us. We knocked out 31 points in 1994 on Fat Tuesday.

Miller hit big shots at Vandy, shredded their zone with passing and led the comeback, now ten days later he's garbage in big game situations. Okay. Whatever.

I think we're done and I think it'll end up being a 7 point defeat.

Mississippi State is a terrible matchup for us. They're the rare team that has two excellent, strong, physical bigs, and they also have an outstanding PG. Add to the fact their role players are hitting 3s and we're done.

No reason State shouldn't be a Top 4 seed in March.

Last 7 games, UK opponents are averaging 53.25ppg. Tonight? ---> 41 in the 1H. sick

The first 20min was one of the worst defensive displays we've ever seen since Calipari came to Lexington. Our pick-and-roll defense has been awful. Our hedging on the post (both from the double-team and perimeter defender) has been late to react. Our rotations and close-out have been slow.

...it's like we're playing with cement blocks instead of Nikes.

We're playing them like everyone tried to play OSU last year.

OMG, they have size down low we gotta double down!!

help, kick ---> three
help, kick ---> three
help, kick ---> three

If we stop helping on that and play D like we have the rest of the damn season, and that fat tub still makes shots, well it is what it is.

But if we keep giving up these wide open threes ima be pissed.

Putting Jones on the left block is absolutely pointless. It's my anti-hatboggan.

Lamb has sucked on defense. Didn't get back then. Let his man go back door first half. Got his head in his ass on that end of the floor.

3 on Teague might be a blessing in disguise. He's too jacked up trying to match Bost.

We should have this down to 6, but for Teague. Playing awful. SLOW DOWN.

This post is an overreaction. I'll start with a base assumption that's only true a small percentage of the time and finish with a shot at the PG. I hope this was enjoyable.

Bost is having major issues with MKG. I'm starting to wonder if MSU blew themselves up in the 1st half.

Miller has to hit that shot. That's a "nails" shot in the NCAAT. Difference between winning and losing a game.

Would have been a huge 3. But all in all. I'm glad it's a 6 point game in just 5 minutes.
