The tragedy of the situation is that Sidney was the best player in the 09 high school class when he was in his early years of high school. Then the whole move to LA happened and he started to become overweight and lazy.

His skill set for a big man was tremendous and he should be in the NBA right now if he had any self control. it is not like he has a bigger bone structure like Cousins. Sidney is just plain fat.

The thing is, he's FAT fat, not Charles Barkley fat. Charles was big and athletic. Charles used his weight to his advantage, Sidney's excess poundage hinders him.

DeMarcus Cousins was about 290 pounds around draft time. Renardo Sidney is only about an inch shorter than Cousins. Look at these pictures and tell me Sidney doesn't weigh AT LEAST 350 if Cousins weighs 290.

I don't know, he's a naturally big guy just like cousins. Broad with long arms. Not exact, but here's a picture from when Sidney was I BELIEVE a sophomore in high school. Incredibly wide and thick, but not overly fat. Just not physically mature like most 15 year olds. If he could get down to a muscular version of this he'd be one of the 10 best players in college basketball. Problem is he was dubbed the next great big man. He was Andre Drummond before Andre Drummond, and was actually more hyped as a freshman. Was like 6'8 230 as a 14 year old and was a lot like Julius Randle is now but 2 years earlier. Blossomed early and the media and attention he got was too much (don't blame him). He got it in his head he was this monster talent, which he was, and that he'd always dominate like he did in high school...and he clearly can't. Drummond is proof number 2. You need some form of work ethic like Wall/Rose/even Cousins.

It cant look good on the coaching staff the shape he is in. But also hes just lazy and everyone knows it. It shows the way he doesnt run the floor. When he did run the floor last night everyone was suprised. We have had lazy big men too its part of it.

I always thought patterson weighed more than 235. He looked bigger than kones, if not just as big his junior year yet jones is supposedly 255 almost. Mkg is juge though, every bit of 230. So long and lanky its like an illusion but he is. Its wjt i think he could probably gain 10-15 more pounds if he wanted to and not lose a step like a mini lebron.

I agree that Patterson looks like he might weigh a little more than 235, but I still just don't see how MKG is 230 . Look at Kobe. If you were to ask me who weighs more, I'd say Bryant, but he's listed at 205. I don't see how MKG could weigh 30 lbs more than Kobe Bryant.
