Yeah, you could say that about 200 schools. The main problem is FSU's athletic department; they do not make enough of an effort to encourage a strong student presence, as indicated by eliminating the old format of the Nole Zone along the sideline. Of course, some of that fault falls back on the students for not taking advantage of it. I was a student from 2006-2009, and most of the games were pitiful showings overall by the Nole Zone, minus a core group of us (ya know, the ones who showed up before the tip).

I just wish the athletic department would have been more active in the Nole Zone's development. And just for the record, I did try to start something more original in the Nole Zone. It caught on with a few people, but it was met with more grumbling and derision, largely from people who didn't participate, just standing (or even sitting!) around, arms folded. How do you expect the Nole Zone to be original if the fans can't even be in support of another's ideas?

It is a night and day difference from where we use to stand in the Nole Zone on the "sidelines" to where they have to stand now.

It is back to the way it was before "The Robinson Energy Zone" (changed to "The Nole Zone" by vote on this board after Steve Robinson stepped down and Coach Hamilton took over). It is really disappointing not having it like it was until a few years ago again.
