0 like 0 dislike
I just want to apologize for the first half I wasnt feeling well so I was laying on the couch and my husband was sitting in the chair. This is not our normal seats for games. We made the halftime adjustment back to our normal seats for game day and well you seen the results. 3dGrin

NO need to apologize. As a UK fan, those days of game day protocols is behind us. Gone is Tubby and Billy "goofy" Clyde.

Keep doing what you think makes it right.

Wishing you: many happy sittings.

Adjustments are important as the game unfolds for fans, players, & coaches alike! I had the lights off watching the game in the first half, then turned them on in the second half. Seems like there was a parallel there, too!

My adjustment was to turn off the TV after the run we made at around the 10 minute mark failed and they hit a big 3. Later, when I looked at the score online, we were up 1. I watched the rest of the game after that point.

Quote from UofLOL fan:

"They have all the talent in the world, but they'll never win a title
because their fans don't know how to make adjustments."

I knew I was acting crazy when.....I looked around during a timeout in the first half and EVEYONE had gone upstairs and I was the only one left.

Thank goodness you made the adjustment in time. As fans we all have to do our part.

As a husband who has a wife who gets tore up, emotion, screaming about the refs, and occasionally shouting "they dont care if they win". I understand it all. Down in Vanderbilt she was about to grab a girls gold Pom Poms and throw them down the isle, before I intervened.

My wife had her purse filled up with a 32 oz drink by a blue hair Vandy fan a few years ago for being a little over the top. I still tease her about that night.

I too, must confess that I watched the first half from upstairs, which I never do. I moved downstairs to my regular seat for the second half. Obviously, as a whole BBN was a little out of sync for the first half, but we made the necessary half time changes and turned things around.

At halftime, I went on line and read some of the political thread on the Paddox and made a remark or two then laid down on the couch. My daughter (6 years old) came up to me and said "Daddy I hope Kentucky wins because we don't like Mississippi State". Not long after that I turned the TV back on and saw that we were up by 4 and watched the rest of it. It is better on my blood pressure to turn it off or just go away for a while and hope for a come back. It worked.

I made "adjustment", too.
Being careful here, not too descriptive and
I adjusted from the right to the left.
