Ouch. No one to throw it to him, new conference where losses will be high. Don't understand DGB's choice (not that I ever thought he would go to OU). A LOT of schools that could have gotten him to a NC or a Heismann. Now..hmm. Oh well, I do give props to Mizzou for getting this guy. And hey, we talk all the time about how a player should be about team and not self, so if that's the case then even more props.

No one to throw it to him? How do you figure that?

Tony Franklin, 300 attempts for 2800 yards, versus, say Landy Jones 500 attempts for 4400 yards. DGB said he wanted to be in a throw it around offense. Well, the SEC will change some of that. It's OK, I knew OU would not land him but even the Hogs throw more and complete more (400 attempts for 3800 yards)
Again, great pickup and congrats to the Tigers.

whose Tony Franklin?.....the old aTm kicker ain't playing QB at MU....

Now that you've given us your "expert" advice, you liely realize his name is James Franklin, who as a SO, was in the top 25 in the Nation in passing.....

I think guys like AJ and Julio did OK in the SEC.....DGB can as well

Whether at OU, Arky, or MU, he has to prove himself....

plying at a school whose last 3 QBs are in the NFL, doesn't seem like such a big risk

BTW, let me know how many TDs Landry Jones threw for after Ryan Broyles went dow this year?

How'd he look without a premier receiver?

not good...which is likely why he is back

but, thanks for sharing...

Have you forgotten how much we threw the ball when we had Maclin and Alexander? You go with what is working. Last year it was Henry Josey. We're going to have to throw more this year with Josey's injury. Hopefully we get him back for 2013.

DGB is going to make throwing it a LOT easier for Mizzou.
