God help the young man. He will be successful whereever he goes but he is going to be on the wrong end of the majority of his conference games for the next two years. He may play in a Music City or Liberty Bowl but that is his goal right now.

Sounds like he had Mizzou from day one which is contrary to what he was saying. Well, good luck to him and a middle of the pack finish in the East for the 3 years he'll be playing.

Can't fault a kid for staying home. I think he will do just fine. There is a lot to be said about a kid that passes over the football factories to stay and help the home team. Congrats UM.

I agree TOP HOG! It would have been nice to have him on board but oh well. I also agree with the fact that he will be on the wrong side of things. Mizzou was a good BIG12 team but the SEC is so different. I wish him well! So who do we have left to watch out for today? Who is the kid from FL?

Can't blame a kid for staying home. I think he'll be less of a factor at Mizzou than he would be at an already proven SEC school. If it wasn't us, I'm just glad it wasn't Bama. Mizzou's about to find out about SEC O lines & D lines, just as KSU did.. Good luck to a great young man anyway's.....

Have to agree. Good deal for Mizzu. Can't fault a kid for staying home. I just hate drama involving high school kids. Hope it works out for him. Go Hogs

Congrats to DGB. Nothing wrong with staying home. I think he will break lots of receiving records.... in the Independence Bowl.

You can thank RD for that. He has a very low batting average with picking top players coming here.

No way they beat GA, SC, FL, AL, TN (at home), KY is not a given, Vandy will give them all they can handle, Yea I'm sure they can beat A&M again, but it will not be a given. I count at best 6 wins, that's is they finish up their non-conf schedule with push overs like we do. Music City/Liberty Bowl will be looking at a new helmet next year. Hey look though, both are close so they should get a good crowd for the game. Can't complain too much about the Liberty, we did use it as a spring board to the BCS Sugar Bowl.

I predict in his 3 years at Mizzou he will be MVP of the Music City Bowl, Liberty Bowl and the Independence Bowl. Best of luck to him in those pursuits!

Well, one of us is in the top 5 and look to be there for a while. The other is, well, Missouri. I actually feel sorry for DGB.

One of us is ranked 47th for the decade 2000-2009. Hint, it's not the HOGS. So much for Missouri_kev's comments about how good they were and all the great players they had. I looked at all time rankings, by quarter of a century rankings and by decade rankings. What I found is that we are much higher in every single one. Oh yeah, the SEC is going to love these guys.

I was surprised to see Mizzou only signed one WR in this class. I saw quite a few of their games this past season, and IMO they were obviously lacking in the WR position -- hence my post.

As for their move, all I can say is those guys are lucky they didn't end up in the SEC-W (because their first couple years wouldn't been pretty). That said, the SEC-E might not be that much better for them.
