No kidding, we lose 3 of our best WR's and we can't sign 1 4 or 5 star. It's frustrating but we'll just have to trust BP...it's worked out pretty good so far though!

Man, Hobhog and others crack me up. I said a while back that no matter the coach, Arkansas is a perinial 18-30th in recruiting EVERY YEAR. I started to drink the coolaid (esp Richard Davprt - who is wrong on almost all the top players)only to be thankful for the kids that come but it is just another ho-hum NSD. No frills, just the same thing....a lot of hopes and dreams dashed at the end. I like Richard, but he isn't very good at his predictions.

As an Arkansan I always get a little paranoid about how in-state recruits don't get the Rivals and Scout rankings that recruits from other places do and also that our out of state recruits always seem to be a little light on stars. It is really refreshing to see that ESPN now ranks the 2007 recruiting class as the #6 recruiting class in the (4 years later) re-ranking of this class. We may have swung and missed on DGB and Gardner but the WR crew coming in is pretty solid. I'd still like the Hogs to get Neal though. I think we have a real shot at Seth Jacobs, hope I am right!

No idea what I said that "cracks you up", but you do realize we have done better than 18-30th in the past, and if DGB had landed, probably would have been top 10-15 this year. Your pessimistic outlook is understood, but your facts are not. But I'm sure you feel better now that we have an unheralded class- you are truely brilliant.
