LSU back in it for Liggins?

Not trying to stir the pot. I thought he was 100% yours up until today, but some of your other Ole Miss sites are saying that over the past 24 hours LSU has jumped in front. Have y'all heard anything about this?

If he signs with Ole Miss...Great. However...Is he a QB? TE? DE? What position will he play?

The other site don't know jack. Lsu has made their pitch and they could very well be in the picture. They are behind though, not leading

I haven't heard from this young man, haven't seen him play, haven't seen any film. Not in position to have such knowledge, but I do listen to three different Mississippi based sports shows through the week and based on what those guys have said, really wonder if Liggins is worth the hype. Ranch questions his work ethic and weight as well. Will he sull up and work half-ass if he doesn't cut it at quarterback [which sounds probable] and is assigned another position? Then again, he may turn out a star qb for all I know, but really, is he worth the hype and the experiment to determine his position in college?. I see he's a three star for whatever that's worth.

I watched Liggins in the high school championship games (on TV) played at Memorial Stadium in Jackson. I can tell you he looked sorta sluggish. Having said that...he could very well--with his size--be a great short yardage QB. He is big enough to sneak it for a yard or two. I hope he chooses Ole Miss over LSU. That would be a slap in the face. I'd rather he stayed in state regardless of which school.

LSU is trying to keep up with Bama in recruiting and they have failed to do that over the last few weeks so I'm hearing they are promising Liggins what he wants, the QB position, so they can finish strong. might work

I think that Les has blown his shot with any legitimate QB after JJ's "awesome" outing this season, and now he is scrambling trying to sign a QB for this class. Not saying that Liggins won't be a good QB, but if history repeats itself, it does not look promising for his chances to be a quality starting QB in the SEC given his size.
