Eli in superbowl

means Cam Newton get's Eli's spot at the Pro Bowl. Yeah, I know all the allegations around him while he was at Auburn, but he had an unreal rookie year. Guy is amazing and is going to be trouble for the Nfc south down the road.

When he got drafted I thought he would be terrible in the NFL. Man was I wrong. Cam did very well for a rookie, and the would've won more game, but the had alot of injuries on the D.

In fact, word on the street is, Cam did SO well that they are going to give him a pay bump to equal what he was making at AU before the Draft!

All kidding aside, the guy is a great athlete and should do very well in the NFL. Good size, good speed for that size and a cannon arm. Fun to watch.

And you're right. No more money problems for the Newton family. Be interesting to see if he gives back to AU.

What always amazes me is whenever a player doesn't get voted into the Pro Bowl but gets in when one of those who was voted in has to miss the game, that player is thereafter always referred to as a Pro Bowler.
