Question

Is there any chance that this young man sees some appreciable playing time this year? He came to Ole Miss with, what seemed to be a lot of ability (U.S Army All American), and an injured foot, and has been a career backup. Has his injury not healed by now? Would he fit in Coach Freeze's offense. As a (redshirt?) senior, he will be more experienced and more physically mature than any of the freshmen coming to campus this fall. I hope he can have a breakout year.

He has shown nice flashes of speed and ability at RB but he has not gotten many chances due to Boldon and Davis playing a lot for 4 straight years. Also 2 years ago we got Jeff Scott who has serious skills. I think Devin's playing time depends on how well the RB's we bring in play. I expect us to have 2 to 3 RB's on signing day so it remains to be seen. Good kid though and I hope he has a great redshirt senior season as well.

Nick has improved since he got here, looked good at times. Nutt wanted to use him at fullback but he has the skill set to play tailback. Should have a chance to be in the mix this fall.

I hope Devin gets a chance. He is a good kid. He had an injury in high school on a horse collar tackle when he shouldn't have even been on the field late in a game.
