I'm anxious to see

Question

who is enrolled 2nd semester and eligible to practice this spring. I know (or think I do) it isnt good.

Are you referring to the group of players that will likely flunk out of school or something else. I swear the Nutter recruited the dumbest players possible during his era, I mean how many academic casualities have we suffered these past few years

I had a lot of friends get who almost failed out their freshman year and ended up really successful. I don't think you can label a kid dumb for what he does as a froh but I am holding my breath until we find out just how bad it is.

Yea don't get me wrong I struggled throughout college with certain school work and such but I wasn't provided with the amount of "help" along with other things that today's student athletes get. I was referring to the amount of players that flunk out of school recently, it sure seems like we have alot more kids that have to drop out compared to most schools, that's all

And remember college becomes a job for these young men . They are playing college football to pay for their education. They attend team meetings, classes, weight training and lots of other things. Let's face it, some can't or don't know how to handle it at first. It is too fast for some at first. Just hope that they get it worked out and can have some success .

Grades have been out for some time now. Coaches know who's in and who's out, but can they make public the ones that flunked out?

It usually doesnt come in a "list" but as spring workouts begin, questions about players result in who is in and who isnt. Decorum.

I dont think that comes out til spring game time. Been my experience. Usually it leaks out when coaches give info on who IS here, then you can make some deductions. I compare rosters on scout and www.olemissports.com to see who's absent and who walked on etc.
