Funny Things About Recruiting

Question

there are always some things you can count on in recruiting, or at least, have been true during my short life time:

1) the SEC will dominate the rankings
2) Florida State and Miami will both be rated as having some of the very best classes in the country, and the analysts will talk about how they are about to turn it around with this class, but....
3) Tennessee will get a surprise top commit on national signing day
4) People will be scratching their heads on how both Alabama and Auburn got at least one of their recruits over the home school
5) Georgia will get another class that will most likely underachieve...although not to the level of the aforementioned Florida State and Miami classes
6) Arkansas will get a class that is ranked towards the bottom of the conference, but with Petrino they will kick butt again, and people will again think it is a fluke
7) Five star recruits with five star big heads will not play as well as four star recruits with two star "I will prove myself" players
8) Vanderbilt will think they are catching up to Tennessee based on their latest recruiting class
9) every coach in America will state in public how successful their class was whereas most are nervously anticipating how they will pan out
