I think that it will be more than that when all the dust settles!

I also will not be surprised to see Notre Dame and one other school come on board before too much longer, due to the disappearance of traditional rivalrys for the Irish in the Big East...ND wants to be in a conference where their olympic sports will find a home, and the ACC is, and will be the best conference for that to occur...Would not suprise me to see Notre Dame and UConn in the ACC before 2015!

If that were to happen, the ACC could indeed have a North/South division when all is said and done.

ACC South
----------
Miami
FSU
Clemson
Ga.Tech
UNC
Wake
NCST
Duke

ACC North
----------
UVA
Va Tech
Pitt
Maryland
BC
Syracuse
Notre Dame
UConn

Not a bad looking football conference, but could you imagine the ACC Basketball Tournament in Madison Square Garden with this lineupEek

Long live the ACC!

Even with the expansion money, that is far less than big 10, big 12, and sec money. Granted Clemson can operate on a much smaller budget due to its relative small school size (less title 9 sports) compared to the major players in the other conferences.
