So many holes in that story. 105 already mentioned the absurdity of a greyshirt offer at Bama but what about him playing safety at LSU next year? I seriously doubt Miles is promising him that since Eric Reid and Craig Loston will be back at LSU next year. LC looks pretty good but no one believes he will unseat either of those guys. If he was actually promised that by Miles....huge red flag because he couldn't possibly promise that save mop up duty. Again, I doubt there was ever any such promise.

He has a better chance to play next year at Bama based on what each team returns in their secondary. His mom wants him to go to LSU and she's just trying to make a better argument for him to go there.

I can't prove that Landon Collins is not getting a gray shirt offer. I can just use common sense and tell you there is no way in hell it is going to happen. Same goes for a red shirt as well. He was the best we had at the time and he was not injured. We then got TJ Yeldon from Auburn and Landon Collins out of Louisiana and numbers got tight. He was never going to contribute this year anyway, so we asked him to gray shirt which would push his enrollment back 1 semester. Big whoops.

Saying we dicked the kid over is just petty. He apparently is not as butthurt over it as some of you are because it looks like he will take the gray shirt offer. He will rehab and get healed up without losing any eligibility. If you look at this objectively then he will benefit greatly.

How is this a bad thing? Please tell me. He tore his ACL during the season and would never contribute. We push his enrollment back a semester and he comes back with 5 to play 4 still. I don't see how it is bad. His gaurdian even said he was ok with it.

I don't know the kid so I really don't have a personal interest in him. If it were one of my kids I would help him with whatever decision he wanted to make for himself. I have had kids talk to me about visiting Auburn and Tennessee. It does not matter with me as long as they are in college. You should not assume so much.
