I don't think Jeff Shultz from the AJC is "national media". Just another hit piece because one of the kids from his region was "done wrong".

Nobody really gives a damn what you or any window licking barner thinks. You obviously do not live in the real world where if there is a better candidate for your job, then you will be replaced. Not a single one of these kids are owed a scholarship. I expect the coach of my team to bring in the 25 best players that he can. Not the first 25 that commit. You should too.

I guess that's why Bama is the all time #1 program in the nation and y'all...........well......aren't even close.

If your coach is not trying to get the best 25 kids he can then he should be fired. Period.

Our coaches tell certain kids when they commit that we love you and want you but there is a chance that you may have to pay your own way or grey shirt or whatever other options are out there if certain high profile players commit late. Full disclosure. How can you turn that upside down when it does happen?

The kid was offered a gray shirt in a year he would contribute absolutely nothing. I have no problem with it at all, and would feel the same way if it was one of the kids that I coach. The outrage from you and the others are funy as hell. If the kid accepts the gray shirt then cool. If not then cool. I have not posted a single excuse for anything. You are just being your usual faggish self.

He deserves to be on scholarship now, properly evaluated and rehabbed by alabama, probably redshirted, then ready to go full steam ahead. If he is still medically unsound, he can have one of those medical hardships that the other guys saban doesn't want get. It is so funny how YOU know what is said and what is not said. My only evidence is hearing and reading NS say over and over again that there are kids we tell upfront that they may have to pay their own way, greyshirt, or some other options. No one in the press questions whether we disclose this or not. Only your fan base questions it.

Let us just for a moment though assume you are right and we are screwing kids over year after year. Do you not think that the word would get out and the kids and their parents would raise hell and our recruiting would go in the direction that yours is in? It is not. Once again we will sign the #1 class. How could we do that year after year if what you believe is true? Free markets rule and will correct errors humans make. Thus far no corrections.

Why? That would cost someone else a scholarship using your logic. He can't, probably shouldn't and definitely would NOT play in 2012 anyway.....even if he was healthy. Even full contact practice wouldn't be a great thing for him right now. If he accepts our GS, he won't burn his RS year and will have more time to recover and more time at Bama to become THE man. The truth is that the only reason you care about Taylor and feign outrage over this is because of Bama. If he was a GS candidate at UCF, you wouldn't even know his name.

The worst thing this does for Taylor is possibly pushes his enrollment back 6 months. However, there are many grants he can apply for to start immediately and I promise you we have staff on hand to help him accomplish that if that's the route he chooses. BTW, Taylor is still committed to Bama and though he's looking, I think he'll stick.
