And our fans, too.
All of the SEC coaches are getting an early sense, its 2-3 years before its back to Kentucky and Arkansas. No one felt this way with either Heath or Pelphrey, who held our program hostage with mediocrity.
We lost today, but I'll bet the same Bama team, knows they are lucky to have won this one today against a group of Arkansas freshman and younger players, and are gulping a big swallow about the game up here, and more so, of dealing with the prospect of playing this Arkansas team under MA for 2-3 more years, and then, more immediatley of knowing, they most likely can't even beat us at home this very year---a team ranked #5 earlier this season. They won't like coming here, I'll say that. Neither will Ole Miss. Neither does anyone. Neither will any team.

it is VERY possible we only win 3-4 more games from here on out. Just now hitting meat of schedule and it may not be pretty the last 11 games. Every win is huge. Vandy tuesday will be very difficult, and probable loss. Just sayin....

Watching this bball team is a whole lot like watching Fball team in Petrino's 1st year. We took our losses but you could tell that he could flat out coach and even though we were losing games you could still see the improvement and what was to come. I see the same thing with MA. We are going to back to elite status in bball in a very short amount of time. Love it that already Bud-W has become a home court advantage again. These young Hog fans are going to be crazy-hyped when they see what level that place can get. It was & will be again one of the top home court arena's in the country that no team likes to come & play in.
My only regret is for those seniors that were a part of the turn-around in the 1st year but dont get to enjoy what is to come - in both Fball & Bball. Those guys deserve a huge thanks for sticking it out and giving us Hog fans their true devotion to the program!

You are right on all accounts. I typically don't take Razorback losses very well and tend to be in a bad mood for a while, but this year I haven't got upset with one hoops loss. It just wasn't hard to know we were going to taake some lumps this season. New system, new key contributors (mainly freshmen), new coach, no Marshawn all make a receipe for learning pains. As you said, we see improvement every game and it is obvious that progress is being made. We will be hell to deal with in a year or so! Just like Coach BP, Mike can't make magic overnight.
