If you guys think for a minute that Arkansas has a silent commitment and the visit to Missouri is simply out of courtesy you are sadly mistaken.

Can't wait to see this board next week :)

Well if he had already decided Mizzou then he likely would have announced that to his home state instead of waiting. So either he is heading down to Arkansas or he is still undecided. If the latter, I think he's only down to AR and MO.

But this wouldn't be the first highly touted recruit from that state of Missouri that chose to be a Razorback now would it?

Pinkle had to fly the helicopter. His drivers license is still suspended from his DWI.

The last 2 weeks tell the entire story. He's taken his visit to Arkansas by himself and now to Mizzou with the whole family (family loves the MU staff and have mom & dad in their corner). I would agree 2 weeks ago he was going to Arkansas. Something has changed over the last few weeks where all signs point towards MU.

Everybody has insiders on their boards that know someone. I'm not that guy, but people on our board connected to SW Missouri have changed tune over the last 10 days & our most respected posters (not sunshine pumpers that only deliver good news) have sources think he's MU bound.

If you know anything about the Beckham family you would understand they would would not string the MU staff along. MU has recuited Coach Beckham's players for over 10 years and long before DGB was a household name. He was quoted this week "we are past courtesy visits". Where there's smoke there is usually fire.

I wonder why Jeremy Maclin tweeted he was heading home. Wouldn't that be great if they ran into each other? Coincidence it's the same weekend DGB is here??? Maclin a hometown legend and 2 time All-American is very well thought of and spends a lot of time giving back to the University and the community. Bottom line--go to Arkansas and be another guy or play for the home state and be a legend.

MIZ DGB!

More than likely he wants to vie for titles. That's exactly what we will be do for the immediate future. While I respect Missouri as a program, you are about to get the same rude and ugly introduction to the SEC that we were given. You don't come from the SWC in our case, or the Tex-ass 12 in your case and immediately compete in the SEC. It takes a while to play catch up and just like us you will have some catching up to do. I think it may have been Danny Ford that said the SEC not only slits your throat, they drink your blood.

I agree. It takes a while to get use to the intensity of the SEC.

It will be like playing your biggest rival in the BIG-12 EVERY freaking weekend.

It's murderer's row.

There is no way you can understand how tough the SEC is until your in it and have played an SEC schedule.

Trust us. We're old enough to remember our transition into the SEC from the SWC back in 1992.

That said, once you get use to it, you'll love it!

Former student athletes are not allowed to make contact with recruits. Maclin had better just wave from a distance.
