Wanted to thank you on behalf of WVU

Question

and the entire state of WV for your part in rescuing us from a situation that could have resulted in the demise of our beloved football program. To be left behind in the Big East would have been a death sentence for us. We are so used to being disrespected and unappreciated that the warm welcome we have recieved so far is something that we aren't used to. Trust me we will fly the Big XII banner with pride and will do our best to add to the tradition of your great conference.

Looking forward to the future battles and we will enjoy every minute of making you look like geniuses for replacing a has been and a never will be with two strong programs like TCU and WVU.

I don't think you fully understand what happened here. You did not get a warm welcome at all. Truth is the Texas and Oklahoma run Big 10 now has leverage on your team. I'm sure we will here about it in the next three years. Really curious what Baylor will do with this.

Snork! Man, that's funny. I feel pretty sure that a team that brings in more revenue than they spend (that'd be WVU, for those of you who studied math at a li'l farming school) will be able to take care of themselves. Hell, WVU has *already* stood up to TEXAS and more than held their own.

The difference, of course, is that unlike the agroids, we can occasionally disagree with our new friends from the Appalachians and sometimes we win, and sometimes they win, and nobody gets their panties in a wad.

while also adding stronger football programs

and can't remember one I liked. They always seemed self centered and arrogant. Texas and Oklahoma have a responiblity to look out for their schools, so does WVU. We all understand it is a big boy game.

All the schools in the B12 have some pretty good suits looking out for the back office stuff. Us fans will just cheer for our teams and demand that they perform on the field and court.

Now go along and enjoy being in the second best football conference next year, because from top to bottom the B12 was the best conference in the nation last year. TCU and WVU are going to do everything in their power to make it better. hell there might be a 6-6 team in the B12 next year that may be the best 6-6 team in the history of college football.
