If it was an innocent meeting and they only said hello in passing then it is not a violation. If in fact BP spoke to him for several minutes then it could be an issue.

It's not going to be an issue. This was the same thing that happened to Pelphrey and some recruits at a BB tournamnet. It was not intentional.

Intent doesn't matter. They talked during a "dead period"......he can't go to Arkansas without serious consequences.

Or, maybe, you guys think coaches abruptly cancel valuable in-person meetings with the best player they are recruiting for no reason......

Or maybe Petrino already knows he has DGB's commitment wrapped up so he is simply forgoing the meeting because it's moot -- and to stave off any appearance of impropriety (from the incidental contact).

Arkansas' statement: "No violation has occured and we are taking proactive steps we feel necessary to avoid any risk of one."

The Horn is an idiot. It is NOT a violation if you inadvertently run into a recruit. The dirty Horns who can't evaluate players sit and wait to steal other recruits since they've discovered their recruiting services they use have been a total waste of money!

Sounds to me the "interaction" in SA eliminates the inhome either by demand or UA playing it safe. Wont have an effect.. these kids get so much opportunity to visit & build relationships in todays recruiting world that the HC final in home isnt what it used to be.

Heck, if rumors are true that Petrino's personality wasnt a selling point vs his offense & program being the highlight, maybe its for the best.
