PC gone crazy

Question

UK fan here, looking forward to the game tomorrow, and just wanted to say that I think this PC crap is out of hand. I thought the t-shirt idea (UK2GAY)was in good fun - but then someone had to go and get offended.

Sports are supposed to be a distraction from all the stressfull stuff we deal with day to day. The shirt idea was clever, and playful jab...to bad not everyone can relax a little.

I hope you aren't closed-minded to the point where you don't realize that "clever, playful jabs" can be stressful and hurtful to the unintended victim.

Actually catmandew, that t-shirt idea (UK2GAY) was born in 2010, and was fathered by UL fans. It was reported in the kentucky kernel on December 31, 2010, right after the UK-UL game. If you wish, I can try and find the link for that info. I know that VU is not infallible, but Matt Jones was very unprofessional in promoting the falsehood (read: LIE) that a VU student was responsible.

I thought Vandy had a Confederate Hall, Rebel Dorm, Jim Crow Cafeteria or something that was hardly comparable to a guy who coached african american kids in the 20s and 30s.
