West Virginia and Notre Dame to the ACC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question

We need to convince WVU out of the Big 12, and move on to the ACC by 2015.

As well as Notre Dame, or Penn State!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the ship has sailed on WVU. They've signed a 6 year granting of rights for their TV rights. And, it's getting extended and additional 7 years here pretty soon. So, they'll be locked in 13 years before they can go anywhere, b/c if they leave the Big XII, the Big XII owns every single home game WVU appears in, as well as the revenue stream from those rights. I understand the ACC's logic, but it was pretty shortsighted to put academics over athletic production in a SPORTS conference. Their loss was the Big XII's gain though.

I think it'd be great if Notre Dame joined the ACC. And I think eventually, that's what they'll do. But personally, I'd love to see the Big XII come out of their negotiations with ABC/ESPN able to offer FSU, GA Tech, and Clemson a $10M increase in TV revenue to come to the Big XII and join WVU and Louisville or VA Tech in an Eastern Division of the Big XII. It's probably unlikely, but I think it'd be great.
