Big 12 commish rips Mizzou

Question

Completely uncalled for given that its 2012, but it sounds like the Big 12 commissioner is still bitter about Mizzou leaving for more a more prosperous future.

Somebody in the Big XII office should call the nursing home and let them know Chuck got out again. He has been nothing but a wind bag the whole time.

So the Big XII offers an undisclosed concession to Mizzou to stay and Mizzou refuses. It seems there would be a lot to consider:

- How much TV money does Mizzou lose because of the difference between SEC and Big XII contracts?
- How does it impact Mizzou's recruiting to spend another year in limbo rather than actually playing in SEC territory near the kids we want to recruit?
- What impact does it have on the other teams in our new conference?
- Does the exit clause in our contract require it?
- Has the Big XII treated Mizzou with dignity and fairness throughout the process or have most of them been feeding lies to the media to make MU look bad?

Bottom line, Mizzou owes the Big XII nothing at this point. The Big XII has said publicly they don't need us. Neinas is being hypocritical, because he would love WVU to do the same thing to the Big East and their contract actually says they must give 2 years notice.

With Chuck on the constant attack, Missouri should do absolutely as little as possible to help the Big XII on the way out the door.

They should your an easy win in the Big 12 and will be an even more so in the SEC.....Look for a lot of looooooong/disappointing seasons in the SEC it's a big boys game.....

Luckily for you, we're in different division.

Don't let two good seasons go to your head. After all, you made your first BCS bowl last year and gave the SEC it's first loss to the B1G in BCS bowls.

A few seasons ago Arkie had a chance to school us at the Cotton Bowl. Pre-game the big talk from their fans was all about the SEC speed that Mizzou was not prepared to face. How'd that one turn out? Bottom line is that Missouri has been competing with the giants in the Big-8 and Big-12 for decades. The Tigers do not feer competing in the SEC.
