Shiloh's is always popular and Harpo's is a Missouri institution.

Both are in the downtown area.

Have fun in Columbia. It's a great college town.

Since you have found a good place to stay and have the best extracurriculars already lined up, I'll just warn you to pretend like the game is a long road trip and hit the restroom before it starts. The corner where visiting fans sit has traffic flow issues at half time and it is very difficult to fight through the crowd to get to the restroom and back. I'm really hoping they fix this in future stadium changes, but for now, it is whaat it is.

Do you know that if they catch you that technically you are exposing yourself in public? If convicted, that's considered a sex crime and you can end up on a registry with the Sandusky types. Not saying that's right, but it's a consideration.

I pissed in a guard tower for 15 months in Iraq and nothing was ever said... You mean I can't do this in front of 70,000 other people? Weird...

Good thing Iraq isn't a strict follower of Hammurabi code like the Saudis. When you commit a crime there, they often cut off the offending body part. Maybe we should outsource the Sandusky trial.

Flat Branch is also a good place especially for sitting and drinking outside when the weather is good. Good food as well.

Booches for hamburgers, Shakespeares for Pizza, I also really like the Heidelberg(especially in September when you can have dinner on their rooftop).

Harpos and Shilohs both great for bars... as is most of downtown.

We look forward to welcoming Georgia fans to Columbia.

Flat Branch Brewery for good beer and a nice patio. Booches for burgers, Harpos to meet the locals.

Plenty of great places to get a beer in town. It's kind of something Columbia has been known for. Whatever you do, if you drink, take a cab. It does NOT pay to drink and drive here.
